It is located by the pool and is the perfect place to have lunch. We will tell you a little secret … Ask the waiter for a seafood platter, this dish is not on the menu. The restaurant buys the morning catch from local fishermen – you can be sure, everything is fresh and the neighbours from the next table will look at you with envy! You can drink delicious coffee at Il Forno, and if you get hungry, you can order lunch, served here all day long. There is also an O-bar on site, overlooking a beautiful lagoon. Connoisseurs will smoke hand-rolled cigars here and taste the best cognac.

The luxurious Hotel La Pirogue is a 4-star establishment located on the west coast of the island, in the village of Flic e Flac. Its location means that when you go on vacation to Mauritius, even in winter (May – September) you can expect better weather than on the eastern coast – it is less windy and there is less rainfall (although the weather is never known for sure). Recently renovated, just a year ago, it offers accommodation in bungalows, which are decorated in a bohemian style. Certainly, the advantage of the hotel is its location by a sandy beach (covered here and there with a delicate coral) and the proximity to the town with restaurants, bars and shops.
The hotel has a swimming pool overlooking the beach, a gym and a spa. Sun Kids awaits the youngest guests. Qualified babysitters organize time for children – from entertainment on the playground, through water activities, to manual classes. Adults will also not be bored during their holidays in Mauritius. The water sports centre provides kayaks, jet skis and Stand Up Boards, and organizes fishing, diving, snorkelling and catamaran cruises. The hotel also has a recording studio with professional equipment. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that the hotel organizes a boat transfer to the Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club, which was designed by Bernhard Langer. There are also two restaurants on-site at the exclusive La Pirogue hotel. Buffet breakfast and dinner are served in the Wolmar restaurant and include fresh fruit and yoghurts for the fit, Moorish delights such as smoked marlin, and Asian and European dishes. We were delighted with the fresh seafood we tasted in the Magenta restaurant and the wine we tasted in the Van Der Stel bar.
Hotel guests can also choose from two bars – Le Morne Beach Bar and The Medine Bar, where in addition to refreshing drinks, local rum or beer, you can order light snacks and European delicacies.

Located on the east coast, next to a beautiful sandy beach, it is a very good choice for an exclusive holiday in Mauritius. The property offers apartment accommodation in one of several pavilions and villas with private pools on the beach. Four swimming pools, including one heated, SPA, a water sports centre, an 18-hole golf course and a kids club are just some of the attractions that await you during your vacation at the Constance Plage hotel.
